RIP, Bob Dorough… creator of Schoolhouse Rock and *THE BEST* LA song ever written

Don’t believe us? Just listen to it and we’re betting you’ll agree.

Bob Dorough began his career “as a composer, arranger and singer in the booming New York jazz scene of the ’50s and ’60s before he became the musical keystone of Schoolhouse Rock!” He passed away Monday afternoon at 94.

Bob was an amazing guy with an infectious creative spirit; he will be greatly missed. We were lucky enough to meet him a few times, and he never ceased to make us smile and laugh in his presence. He was also the kind of guy who could seriously rock a bright orange belt… which is a rarity in and of itself. :)

Rest in peace, Mr. Dorough. You really LIVED the life you were given, that’s for sure.
